Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Katra
Arrive in Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi yatra. Rest and prepare for the pilgrimage.
Day 2: Vaishno Devi darshan
Begin the yatra on foot, or by pony/palki/helicopter, to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi for darshan. Return to Katra.
Day 3: Katra to Patnitop
Scenic drive to Patnitop, a hill station of pine forests and open meadows. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Patnitop to Srinagar
Scenic drive to Srinagar, evening shikara ride.
Day 5: Srinagar to Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers. Ride the famous gondola cable-car and soak in views of snow-capped peaks. Overnight in Gulmarg or back to Srinagar.
Day 6: Srinagar to Pahalgam
Drive to Pahalgam via the saffron fields of Pampore and apple orchards. Explore Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey with sweet memories of the valley.
